Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what 1000AD Revived (“we”) collects when you use the website, game, and Discord bot, and how that data is used. It is written for a closed beta; we may refine it as the product matures.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — email, hashed password (if you use credentials), display name, optional avatar URL and country code
  • OAuth / OpenID — if you sign in with Google, Twitch, or Steam: provider account id, email (when provided), and avatar from that provider
  • Game data — empires, scores, messages, protection-run logs (if you opt in), achievements, and similar play state
  • Discord link (optional) — your Discord user id (snowflake) stored so slash commands like /me can show your empire; short-lived one-time link codes until used or expired
  • Operational logs — server logs needed to run and debug the Service (may include IP addresses on the hosting platform)
  • Email — when we send invite or password-reset mail

2. How we use data

We use this data to:

  • Operate accounts, games, moderation, and support
  • Answer Discord slash commands you (or the server) invoke
  • Send transactional email you request (invites, password reset)
  • Improve fairness, security, and reliability of the Service

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Discord

Public bot commands return information already visible on public game listings and scoreboards. Linked commands return private empire fields (such as food and turns) only to the Discord user who linked that account. Unlink anytime via Account options or /unlink. Discord also processes interactions under Discord’s Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (for example hosting and database) that process data on our behalf to run the Service. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect players and the Service.

5. Retention

We keep account and game data while your account is active and as needed for the beta. Link codes expire after a short period. You may ask us to delete your account; some logs may remain for a limited time for security and abuse prevention.

6. Your choices

  • Update profile options on the Account screen
  • Unlink Discord when you no longer want bot access to your empire
  • Contact us to request account deletion or a copy of your data
